- 2-3 cloves garlic
- 2 cups fresh basil
- ¼ cup pine nuts
- Splash of fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Place everything but the olive oil in a food processor and place lid on.
- Remove the small center piece in the top and start to slowly pour in olive oil.
- Blend until desired consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve with whole grain bread, over pasta or over white beans.
